Rumors flutter around the neighborhood about the run down looking house on the corner of the street. Nobody can quite pin down what goes on there, whether it be criminal activity, or perhaps something more supernatural. That is, until a girl named Faith bumps into the resident of the home: The neighborhood's local vampire, Vi.
Follow Vi and Faith as their relationship blooms, before it rots away into nothingness.

I liked this A LOT. Right up my alley. Faith seeing transformation as an escape from a life of stagnation, the lore of vampire supremacy and cruelty, and how Vi diverges from that, and how that hurts her, it's all SO GOOD. I love how cleanly the story gets split in half, where you come to the realization that Vi is kind of a pathetic dumbass and Faith is perceptive and cruel, an inversion of how the originally appear in the first half. The epilogue was also really great, the last line of "I need to get out of this town" goes incredibly hard. It all coalesces brilliantly.

i am a bit particular with vampire yuri and i really love your take on it here - so many works treat vampirism as like, wish fulfillment and self actualization and the endpoint of a story, and im hooting and hollering when there is a work that actually like, thinks about how this impacts people and how they change from it and how it causes conflict and division
